Confirm your local rules
Identify your utility and check interconnection, notification, permits and the law’s effective date. A signed bill may not yet be in force.Check the full system’s certification
Follow the manufacturer’s installation instructions and certification for the intended grid connection. A listed component alone does not establish whole-system compliance.Have the circuit assessed
Confirm circuit capacity, wiring, protection and connection method with a qualified electrician. Do not bypass GFCI or other protective devices.Plan secure placement

Do not defeat electrical protection

Outdoor outlets, ground-fault protection and circuit rules depend on location and the installation. A tripping protective device is a problem to diagnose, not a reason to bypass it or select an unprotected outlet. Ask a qualified electrician to check the proposed system.

Keep the documentation

Keep the product manual, certification details, mounting instructions, installer invoice and any utility response. These records can help with warranty service, property approvals and future changes.
